Desired Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience supporting students in K-8 school settings
- Strong understanding of school-based speech and language support protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Comfortable assessing and addressing a variety of communication needs in children
- Experience with, or interest in, providing supervision or mentorship to other SLPAs
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to navigate fast-paced school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under supervisor guidance
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communications
- Collaborate with supervising SLP and educational teams
- Offer supervision and mentorship to fellow SLPAs as assigned
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere encouraging student growth
- Adapt therapy activities to meet diverse learning styles and needs
