- Ability to adapt to varying student needs across multiple campuses.
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and effective implementation of related therapy services.
- Capacity to manage travel between school sites in the Fort Myers area.
- Completion of Florida school fingerprinting and AHCA Clearinghouse checks (assistance provided with verification, transfers, or reprinting as needed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
- Support progress reporting, data tracking, and documentation as required by the district.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to promote student success.
- Engage families and teachers in the therapy process to maximize student outcomes.
