A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available at a school located in North Hollywood, CA. This role involves providing itinerant support to students across the district who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, with an anticipated start date of March 16, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students using AAC devices throughout the district
- Travel between school sites, covering approximately 40-50 miles weekly with mileage reimbursement
- Work under appropriate supervision to ensure compliance with protocols and treatment plans
- Collaborate with certified speech-language pathologists and other educational staff
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with AAC devices preferred
- Reliable transportation to cover itinerant responsibilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time, approximately 30 to 35 hours per week
Additional Details:
- Contract position based in North Hollywood, California
- Start date aligned with district needs, just before Spring Break (week of March 23-27)
- Mileage reimbursement provided for work-related travel
