Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLPA license or certification / ability to obtain
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Experience with pediatric, school-based caseloads—preferably in K–12 settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students under SLP supervision across K–12 grade levels
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Collect data and maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with screenings and classroom-based interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate and support communication with parents/guardians
