Key Requirements:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license
- Availability to work onsite (remote/VOCO work is not an option)
- Proficiency supporting school-aged children within educational settings
- Completion of fingerprinting (or verification via the AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Willingness to obtain or transfer a JLA badge as required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
- Support a caseload of 50-55 students across grades K-8 and high school
- Travel between Hector A Cafferata Jr K-8 School and Riverdale High School (one day per week at each site)
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student success
