Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Opportunity
School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Texas | 2026-2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based opportunity in Texas for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026. This is a great opportunity to support students’ communication development while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative school environment.
This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about working with children and looking to grow their experience in a school-based setting. It is also a great opportunity for those transitioning from clinical, outpatient, or pediatric settings into education-based therapy services.

Onsite position
Additional caseload details to be discussed on interview, district will consider candidate experience/preference of caseload age group
Supportive district and collaborative therapy team
Supervision provided by licensed SLP
Responsibilities
Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Support implementation of IEP goals and treatment plans
Assist with documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring
Work collaboratively with teachers, SLPs, and other related service providers
Support students in improving speech, language, and communication skills
Participate in team meetings as appropriate
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
Active Texas SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
Ability to work onsite within a school-based setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
Open to candidates transitioning from clinical, outpatient, or pediatric settings
