In this school-based role, you’ll work in collaboration with an SLP to share a caseload of approximately 60 elementary-aged students across 1-2 nearby school sites in the Whiteland, IN area, just outside of Indianapolis. Your expertise and compassion will help make a meaningful difference in students’ communication skills throughout the academic year.
This assignment begins July 27th, 2026, and continues through May 27th, 2027, providing a consistent schedule in a supportive educational environment.
Key qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Indiana
- Previous experience supporting or delivering speech therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school therapy team
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language interventions to students under SLP supervision
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Record and track student progress and session data
- Contribute to IEP meetings and school communications as needed
- Support students across 1-2 assigned school locations
