Position Overview:
Full-time, contract position for the school year
School-based setting with collaborative team support
Opportunity to work directly with students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services as directed by a supervising SLP
Implement therapy activities and follow established treatment plans
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Support classroom integration of communication strategies
Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field
Active Texas licensure or registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
Compliance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation requirements
Adherence to Texas Education Agency guidelines, if applicable within the district
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
