Exciting contract opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide coverage for maternity leaves at schools throughout the Houston area. Multiple openings will begin between January and March of 2027, supporting a variety of campuses in South, West, Southwest, and East/Southeast Houston. Reliable transportation and a realistic commute (under 30 miles) are essential due to the size and traffic of the Houston metro area.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLPA license, with documentation available upon request (please submit a license screenshot).
- School-based experience as an SLPA required; prior experience in a similar setting will be prioritized.
- On-site availability exclusively; remote work is not an option.
- Proven ability to commute efficiently to all assigned campuses.
- Dependable transportation is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services as outlined by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Implement student treatment plans and assist with documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to optimize student progress.
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment while managing caseloads at one or more school sites.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards.

- Mading ES + Lockhart ES (South) — Start: 2/1/27
- Westbriar MS + Revere MS (West) — Start: 3/15/27
- Kolter ES (Southwest) — Start: 1/4/27
- Sanchez ES + Southmayd ES (East/Southeast) — Start: 1/18/27
