You will be serving students at Island City Elementary School and La Grande High School as well as supporting North Powder School District, offering comprehensive care in a collaborative educational setting. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure or eligibility in Oregon
- Demonstrated experience with 1:1 pediatric care, preferably in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and families to support student progress
- Comfortable working across multiple sites in a small district
- Passion for fostering positive, inclusive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a diverse pediatric caseload of 40 students
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Collect and document data on student progress
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding student achievements and challenges
- Travel between school sites as needed within the district to support continuity of care
- Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and activities
