What You'll Do:
- Deliver individual and group therapy to students in alignment with plans set by the supervising SLP
- Collect and document therapy data and student progress to support learning outcomes
- Assist in conducting screenings for speech, language, and hearing needs
- Prepare therapy materials and contribute to classroom interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow school professionals to help students achieve communicative success
- Support IEP implementation and follow-up activities as guided by the SLP
- Uphold school district protocols and professional practices
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Texas SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field (licensing requirements satisfied)
- Successful completion of required clinical observation and assisting experience as per Texas regulations
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory
