School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Bedford, TX

You’ll collaborate closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to implement evidence-based treatment plans and ensure each student receives targeted support tailored to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions as outlined by the supervising SLP
- Collect, document, and maintain accurate data and therapy progress notes
- Assist with screenings for speech, language, and hearing under SLP direction
- Prepare therapy materials and facilitate classroom-based interventions
- Maintain organized and confidential student records
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and educational professionals
- Participate in implementation and follow-through of IEPs as designed by the SLP
- Uphold all relevant state, district, and professional guidelines
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA License (TDLR)
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related qualifying field
- Completion of state-required clinical observation and assisting experience
- Ability to work effectively under SLP supervision
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required
