A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support students from Transitional Kindergarten through 2nd grade, including two Special Day Classrooms (SDC), at an elementary school in Lincoln, CA. This contract role spans from February 16, 2026, through June 10, 2026, offering approximately 30 hours per week with a strong possibility of renewal based on performance and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services to students with communication challenges.
- Support individualized therapy sessions tailored to TK-2nd grade students, including those in Special Day Classrooms.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate caseload records.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families to enhance student outcomes.
- Adhere to confidentiality and professional guidelines in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, preferably within a school setting.
- Familiarity with working in elementary education environments, especially with TK through 2nd-grade students.
- Knowledge of Special Day Classrooms and experience supporting students with diverse communication needs.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 30 hours per week from mid-February through early June.
