Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering direct services to students with speech and language needs.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision.
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes following school district protocols.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with all district and state credentialing and background check requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
- Completion of time-sensitive credentialing mandates, including House Bill 486 compliance (district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review).
- Experience working within the school environment preferred, especially with PreK-5 populations.
- Ability to work onsite across two school locations with a scheduled weekly presence.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Professional Experience Pay Range:
- Entry level (0-2 years): $42-$45 per hour
- Intermediate experience (3-5 years): $45-$48 per hour
- Experienced (6-9 years): $48-$51 per hour
- Veteran professional (10+ years): $51-$54 per hour
