Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) strongly preferred for enhanced outreach
- Competence in engaging with children across PreK-8th grade
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, student-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to assist in meeting targeted communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
- Communicate with educators and families as permitted to support each child’s progress
- Assist in developing and organizing materials to facilitate speech-language activities
- Participate in school meetings and trainings as required
