Multiple roles are available, offering both full-time and part-time schedules—ideal for professionals seeking flexibility while making a difference.
In this contract opportunity, you’ll collaborate with other SLPAs and Speech Language Pathologists to deliver direct therapy to student caseloads ranging from 50-55, spanning grades and age groups. Assignments may combine up to three nearby schools to build a full-time position with up to 37.5 hours each week. This is an on-site only role, helping foster essential communication skills and developmental progress in students in a supportive setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid, active FL DOH SLPA license is required
- Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Must be able to complete Florida school district fingerprinting (prior prints in AHCA Clearinghouse may be transferrable with verification form)
- Flexibility to work in multiple school locations in the area
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy services under the supervision of an SLP
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
- Track data and progress for assigned caseload
- Adapt therapy materials and strategies to meet student needs
- Maintain confidentiality and all required documentation
