Compensation: Bill Rate up to $63/hour (based on experience)
Job Overview
We are actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based contract position for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role supports licensed SLPs by delivering therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
This is a great opportunity for an SLPA looking to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary school environment while making a direct impact on student communication development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Work with diverse caseloads across multiple school sites (K–12: Elementary, Middle, High School)
- Support student progress toward IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records and compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
Requirements
- Active North Carolina SLPA License (REQUIRED)
- Must be able to work onsite (no remote/virtual option)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of speech-language disorders and therapy techniques
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple school locations
