Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility in Colorado
- Previous experience working with K-8 populations in school or pediatric healthcare settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Familiarity with developing and implementing therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
- Comfortable managing therapy materials and documentation in a fast-paced school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-8 students as outlined in IEPs and supervised by a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring for students with communication needs
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining accurate therapy notes and documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to help students achieve their communication goals
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and effective educational atmosphere
