Required Skills and Experience:
- Current, valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience supporting speech and language services in an educational or school setting preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and keep thorough records
Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Accurately document student progress and maintain up-to-date therapy records
- Support lead Speech Language Pathologists in planning and implementing therapeutic strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and work closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute innovative ideas to build engaging, inclusive therapy sessions
