Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current and valid Texas license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and organizational skills for accurate progress tracking and documentation
- Adaptable, with a passion for helping school-age children succeed academically and socially
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students, both in-person and indirectly, depending on IEP requirements
- Monitor, document, and report student progress on therapy goals in accordance with educational standards
- Support instructional staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and school personnel to align therapeutic approaches and interventions
