This contract position offers the chance to work across three dynamic campuses: Furr High School, Edison Middle School, and Holland Middle School. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license (must have licensure at the time of application; no supervision hours provided)
- Previous experience as an SLPA in a K–12 school setting
- Ability to work on-site and reliably commute to all three designated campuses
- Strong commitment to collaborative work with students, teachers, and speech-language pathologists
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized communication goals
- Document session notes and student progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student success in diverse learning environments
- Maintain compliance with school and district policies as well as state licensure requirements
- Facilitate generalization of speech-language skills throughout the school day
Additional Details:
- Start as soon as possible and support students through late May 2027
- Laptop purchase is required; reimbursement will be provided to cover this expense
