Seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide specialized support across multiple schools serving TK-6th grade students in a K-12 educational setting. This position is based in Corcoran, CA, for the current school year (CSY) under a contractual arrangement. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assistance to students in grades TK through 6th across multiple school locations
- Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting support strategies as recommended
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other team members to support student development
- Adhere to all relevant policies and standards related to student speech and language services
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working in school environments, especially K-6 educational settings
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with therapeutic and educational strategies for speech and language disorders in children
