Key Responsibilities:
- Provide itinerant SLPA services across two elementary schools, supporting speech and language development for young students.
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists and educational staff to implement therapy plans.
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district guidelines.
- Participate in student evaluations and assist with intervention strategies.
- Travel between assigned schools to deliver consistent services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA SLPA certification preferred.
- Must be able to obtain TEA fingerprints clearance.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in itinerant school settings is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Conroe, TX (Houston metropolitan area).
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours per week.
- Two elementary schools assigned initially (Sam Houston Elementary, Gordon Reed Elementary), with possible expansion to a third school.
