A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in the Houston area, specifically serving elementary schools in Conroe, TX. This contract position is itinerant, covering two elementary campuses with the potential addition of a third. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting elementary-aged students and working within school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assistance to elementary students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Support caseload across two elementary schools, with duties that may extend to a third school.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school district policies.
- Ensure adherence to all credentialing and state requirements, including completion of TEA fingerprints.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA; ASHA SLPA certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology settings.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively across multiple campuses.
- Must meet all time-sensitive credentialing requirements.

- Kingwood, TX area (serving Conroe elementary schools).
This contract role runs from April 10, 2026, to May 22, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week over 5 days.
