Travel Speech Pathologist Assistant in Conroe, TX

This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide vital support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic school setting within the Houston area. The role involves working itinerantly across two elementary schools, serving students with speech and communication needs and supporting the speech-language pathologist in delivering high-quality therapy services. The assignment is scheduled from April 10, 2026, through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in speech and language therapy sessions for elementary-aged students at two assigned schools, with a potential third school added.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a certified speech-language pathologist.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements.
- Support classroom teachers and parents in strategies to reinforce speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA.
- ASHA SLPA certification preferred.
- Completion of Texas Education Agency (TEA) fingerprinting and credentialing requirements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently across multiple locations.
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Conroe, Texas (Houston metropolitan area).
- Full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
