Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (required)
- Current Certificate of Clearance (COC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings working with K-12 or PreK-aged students
- Not accepting applications from new graduates at this time
- Experience with SEIS and Paradigm systems highly preferred
- Familiarity with mild-to-moderate and some severe communication needs, including AAC devices
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to travel for assignments, with flexibility for potential itinerant work
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services to a diverse student population under the supervision of tele-SLPs
- Maintain detailed therapy records and assist in the documentation process using specified software
- Adapt communication strategies for students with varying levels of ability, including those utilizing AAC devices
- Partner with school teams to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with families and teachers
- Travel between school sites as needed to provide services
