As an SLPA working with a manageable caseload of 25 students, you will be an essential partner in helping children build the skills they need for academic and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license specific to the state’s requirements
- Experience in school settings or with early learners preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children with varied communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language services and activities developed by the supervising SLP
- Provide direct support and interventions to PreK – 1st grade students
- Track and document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Assist in developing materials and adapting activities for individual student needs
- Partner with educators and families to promote effective communication strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for educational planning
