Qualifications & Skills:
- State-licensed or eligible Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience or strong interest in working with preschool or school-aged children
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and document session outcomes as directed by a supervising SLP
- Adaptability and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy activities developed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in assessing students' progress and adapting sessions to meet evolving needs
- Maintain accurate session records and provide updates for IEP documentation
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with educators, family members, and the multidisciplinary team
- Foster a warm, encouraging environment for students to maximize their success
