- Recent experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation best practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for partnering with SLPs, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt to a variety of learning styles and age groups
- Organizational skills for maintaining session notes and schedules
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required
- Prepare therapy materials and activities to reinforce lesson objectives
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to support student educational goals
- Assist with screening and assessment processes as directed
