Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) certification for Massachusetts
- Prior experience providing SLPA services in school and/or healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Ability to connect with and support children and adolescents across diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and families
- Compassion, professionalism, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in carrying out therapy plans for students from kindergarten through high school
- Provide support in both individual and small-group settings
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to foster student growth
- Adapt instructional materials and methods to fit the unique needs of each student
