Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLPA license in the state
- Previous experience collaborating with speech-language pathologists in educational settings
- Understanding of IEPs and data collection protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students at various developmental levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to build speech, language, and communication skills
- Assist in conducting screenings and informal assessments as directed
- Collect data and document student performance and progress daily
- Participate in team meetings with educators, therapists, and families as needed to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records in alignment with school and district guidelines
