Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Massachusetts, or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but strong clinical or pediatric experience also welcomed.
- Familiarity with IEP implementation and supporting communication goals in an educational setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), track progress, and support data collection.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to incorporate communication strategies throughout the school day.
- Prepare instructional materials and document student performance and session outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and support a positive, growth-oriented environment for diverse student populations.
