Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or certification
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with infants, toddlers, or early childhood populations
- Understanding of evidence-based strategies in speech and language intervention
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with young children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational ability to manage documentation and scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized support to infants and toddlers under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement therapy activities targeting receptive and expressive language, articulation, social communication, and more
- Participate in the assessment process as appropriate and carry out treatment plans according to each child’s IEP or IFSP
- Collaborate with caregivers and staff to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s care and progress
- Accurately document sessions and maintain compliance with all school or district protocols
