This is a school-based contract starting September 2, 2026 and ending June 17, 2027, offering approximately 37.5 hours per week. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant specializing in school settings, you’ll build your resume with meaningful experience serving children and adolescents in an educational context—with support and mentorship every step of the way.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Maryland Professional Licensure for SLPA
- Experience as an SLPA in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Willingness to comply with district fingerprinting and background check requirements per House Bill 486
- Ability to present required licensure documentation
- Flexible and adaptive mindset—multiple school assignments/caseloads may be determined prior to start
- Availability to work onsite
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy and services to K–12 students
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Document and track student progress as required by district guidelines
- Collaborate with educational staff to best support students’ communication needs
