Step into a meaningful contract position as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, where you’ll support students in the Baltimore area throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland Professional Licensure (SLPA) is required
  • Ability to provide images of current active licenses
  • Must comply with time-sensitive credentialing, including House Bill 486: District background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
  • Experience working in schools or with children is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Conduct activities and exercises to reinforce language and communication objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and session data
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
  • Participate in ongoing team meetings and professional development
  • Flexibly adapt to caseload size and number of assigned schools (to be determined)

This assignment is set for 37.5 hours per week, running from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027. You’ll undergo an internal eligibility interview as a prescreening step prior to placement.
