An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to serve elementary students in the Baltimore area, MD. This on-site travel position involves working directly within two schools servicing PreK through 5th grade students, providing critical support to help children achieve their communication goals.
Location & Schedule:
- Magnolia Elementary: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- Prospect Mill Elementary: Mondays and Wednesdays
- Start Date: February 16, 2026
- End Date: May 29, 2026, with potential extension into Extended School Year (ESY) services in July
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to elementary-aged children
- Collaborate with educational and support staff to develop and implement individualized plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as an SLPA
- Experience working with PreK–5th grade students preferred
- Ability to pass House Bill 486 background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for school environments
Additional Details:
- Candidates with 0-2 years of experience may expect salary in the range of $42-$45 per hour, with higher ranges for more experienced candidates
- Prescreen interviews will be scheduled to assess suitability; flexibility in interview times is available between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST
- This is a travel role requiring presence at two designated schools within the Harford County area
