School-Based Speech Pathology Assistant | Lake Wales, Florida

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students ages PreK–22 in a vibrant school-based clinical environment near Lake Wales, FL. This full-time role is ideal for compassionate professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young adults, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Utilize your SLPA expertise to provide both 1:1 and group therapy sessions in collaboration with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists.
Bring your knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and Medicaid billing processes as you deliver services and track progress for a manageable caseload of 25–30 students. Your day-to-day will foster growth, independence, and improved communication for students in need.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLPA License is required
- Experience with ASD populations preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and Medicaid billing
- Skilled in both individual and group therapy dynamics
- Collaborative mindset to partner with OTs, SLPs, and PTs
- Strong interpersonal and documentation abilities
