Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of implementing speech and language therapy plans developed by SLPs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, staff, and families
- Ability to maintain organized, accurate documentation and comply with school protocols
- Flexible, positive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a supportive team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities as designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students’ speech, language, and communication goals
- Provide feedback and maintain detailed records of student performance and daily sessions
- Support screening, assessment, and progress monitoring under SLP direction
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to facilitate carryover of skills into daily activities
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
