An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) near Chandler, AZ for the 2026/27 school year! This full-time position offers a chance to work closely with early childhood and elementary students in a supportive educational setting. You’ll play an essential role in fostering communication skills among young learners, collaborating with other professionals, and contributing to a positive school environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona SLPA License
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience or training in school-based or healthcare settings as an SLPA
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for supporting young children’s language and speech development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for early childhood and elementary students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize therapy effectiveness
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
