Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Minnesota with current certification number provided
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with completing documentation and progress reports efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage children in group and one-on-one settings
- Confidence in following SLP-provided therapy plans and adapting activities as needed
- Flexible and resourceful approach to addressing varied student needs
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual and small group speech-language therapy sessions
- Implement therapy plans developed by the supervising speech-language pathologist
- Collect reliable data on student progress and maintain detailed session notes
- Support teachers and staff in integrating communication strategies in the classroom
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging each child's communication growth
- Participate in staff meetings, parent conferences, and contribute insight for IEPs as needed
