Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Andover, MN
Step into an engaging, contract-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant supporting elementary students. Desired qualifications and skills:
- Valid and active SLPA license with current certification number.
- Experience as an SLPA in a school or similar setting preferred.
- Familiarity with providing speech-language intervention to elementary-age students.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and caregivers.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable to different student needs and schedules.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Support students’ communication goals in group and individual settings.
- Collect data and document sessions thoroughly.
- Communicate student progress to the interdisciplinary team and families as needed.
- Assist with adapting materials and activities for targeted speech and language development.
- Travel between Centerview and Northpoint Elementary as scheduled.
