School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Anoka, Minnesota

Two onsite, part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed for a contract opportunity beginning in late August 2026 and extending to June 2027. This rewarding role offers the chance to make a real difference, serving students at both Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover Elementary School through high school. With a standard Monday through Friday schedule and 37.5 hours per week, you’ll enjoy structure while impacting learners’ futures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Minnesota SLPA license—applicants must hold current licensure, as pending credentials are not considered
- Demonstrated experience or coursework in school-based speech-language services
- Successful background working collaboratively with educators, students, and families
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage varying caseloads
- Proven communication and time management abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing IEP goals for students
- Conduct screenings, support progress monitoring, and facilitate speech-language therapy activities under supervision
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with school and district protocols
- Collaborate with staff and participate in team meetings to further student success
- Adapt quickly to the needs of both middle and elementary/high school populations
