School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Andover, MN

We are seeking two onsite, part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide invaluable services throughout the school year. This contract opportunity begins on August 25th, 2026 and continues through June 10th, 2027. You’ll be a vital part of the speech therapy team, helping students thrive academically and socially.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Minnesota SLPA license at the time of application; licensure must be in hand—no pending certifications will be considered
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with certified Speech-Language Pathologists and educational staff
- Dual certification must be visible and included with your application
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Flexibility to work at both Northdale MS (0.7 Full-Time Equivalent) and Andover ES-HS as assigned
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, faculty, and families to help students reach their goals
- Adapt activities and interventions to support students’ unique needs
- Participate in team meetings and in-service trainings as required
This contract position is Monday through Friday at 37.5 hours per week, offering the chance to engage in meaningful work in a supportive school atmosphere.
