This onsite, part-time contract runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027. You’ll work across two vibrant school communities, collaborating closely with educators and families to facilitate students’ communication and learning.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLPA license (not pending) with dual certification clearly indicated
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with diverse student caseloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
- Proficiency in implementing speech interventions under the supervision of an SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language services as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
- Support assessment and data collection under SLP supervision
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational goals
- Serve students at both Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Andover Elementary/High School as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reports
- Attend team meetings and professional development as required
