This school-based contract position offers full-time hours (37.5 hours per week), allowing you to foster relationships, collaborate with educational teams, and drive student progress from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027. Your skill in speech-language pathology will help shape positive outcomes in a diverse, engaging school setting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a current SLP-CCC credential and Arizona SLP license.
- Possess an active Arizona Educator Certificate.
- Maintain a valid IVP Fingerprint Card.
- Demonstrate previous experience or training in school-based speech-language pathology with PreK-8th grade populations.
- Comfortable working onsite and contributing to a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, intervention, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Support a varied caseload (to be determined) with individualized and group therapy, focusing on communication, language, and speech needs.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute expertise to student support strategies.
