Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Michigan SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is strongly preferred
- Experience in professional school settings, ideally with pediatric or adolescent populations
- Comfort with SLP best practices, including assessments, therapy planning, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus, offering flexibility in service delivery
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades 6-8
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for effective goal-setting and intervention planning
