Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience, or strong background in pediatric and/or teletherapy settings
- Familiarity working with middle school-aged students a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, progress, and communication
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to intervention planning, and share progress updates with all stakeholders
