School Speech Therapist | Yorkville, Illinois

We’re seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to make a significant impact in school settings located near Yorkville, Illinois. This position runs from August 2026 through May 2027, with full-time hours (32.5-37.5 hours per week) available for 1-2 experienced SLPs.
You’ll provide direct and consultative speech-language services across a variety of caseloads, including both Morris and Minooka assignments. The work spans settings such as specialized education cooperatives, intermediate autism support in Minooka, and consult-only services in select schools. Caseloads feature a blend of direct therapy and consults, with a focus on delivering high-quality intervention for students requiring high-minute support.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Documented experience working in K-12 school settings
- Strong ability to manage diverse caseloads and collaborate with school teams
- Familiarity with providing both direct and consultative speech-language services
- Experience with high-needs and/or autism spectrum populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for assigned students
- Conduct consultative sessions to guide staff in best practices for communication and language support
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including IEP participation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educational, administrative, and clinical teams for comprehensive student care
- Engage families and staff to ensure the best outcomes for every student
