With a full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7:30am–3:30pm), you’ll focus primarily on K-6 students but support learners across K-12. Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Special Education – Speech and Language Impaired PK-12, or Educational Specialist Certificate for School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12 (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) and Pennsylvania state licensure (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
- Develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to foster academic and social success
- Maintain organized records of services rendered and progress monitoring
- Engage in ongoing communication to support and empower students and their families
