Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Woonsocket, Rhode Island

This position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through high school, allowing you to apply your skills in both pediatric and educational settings. You’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals to design and implement evidence-based therapy, engage with families and educators, and help students overcome a range of communication challenges.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Speech Language Pathology licensure in Rhode Island (RI SLP license required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, or eligibility as a CFY
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, and/or pediatric speech therapy settings
- Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads and adapting approaches for varied developmental levels
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
How you’ll contribute:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Provide both direct and consultative services to students as needed
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
